Medical Student Education on Buprenorphine Framework
Overview
This month we recruited new students for our summative evaluation. We also worked with the Alcohol MS team to elaborate even further on the idea of medical students as standardized patients.
Progress During August 2009
Milestone 1
Worked with the AlcoholMS team create documents for medical students to train as standradized patients.
- Continue to improve product We gave feedback and guidance on the case creation, focus and background.
Milestone 2
Deploy Medstudentlearning.com
- Usability Usability materials were updated to reflect the site's improvements and the addition of the SP experience.
Work to be Performed in the Next Reporting Period, August 2009
Milestone 1
Continue to share the success of the Summative evaluation
- Write up results for the 20 round three participants for use in the final report
Milestone 2
Start developing feedback packet to send to participants
- Collect aggregate data and let participants know average improvement and individual improvement in clinical skill, knowledge and interpersonal skills.
