Overview
This month we focused on gathering data and examining the SP process
Progress During February 2009
Milestone 1
Gather Round 2 Summative evaluation data
- Clinical skills and knowledge In the second round, clinical skill and knowledge increased significantly from pre to post-experience.
Milestone 2
Reevaluate the SP flow and process
- Wish List We developed a list of features that would be helpful to integrate into the sp process.
- Testing chat functions We simulated a group chat and evaluated imbedding google chat into the site.
Milestone 3
Recruit more students for the evaluation
- Mass emailing Participants were contacted and asked to let others know. We contacted one former employee and asked her to refer interested students to us for the evaluation.
Work to be Performed in the Next Reporting Period, March 2009
Milestone 1
Report results of Round 2 of the Summative evaluation
- Prepare presentation for conferences
- Write up results for use in the final report
Milestone 2
Coordinate with other projects on the SP process
- Answer questions, develop reports as needed
- Give feedback on medstudentlearning.com and come up with new ideas to improve process
